Rookie Driver Tatum Bell Pilots the #8T in Pure Stock for 2015

Tatum Bell, aka \”Boss Hog\” is a busy athlete as he juggles his Rookie Year in racing, AND football he is an accomplished football player as well.  He started his career in Hot Wheels on July 26, 2014 driving the number 6, and won his first feature race on his second time behind the wheel!  In his first 6 races of the 2014 BRC Race of Champions, Tatum had one win and 3 top 5\’s coming in at 8th place overall for the Points Championship.  BY the end of the year he had plans of moving up to the Pure Stock class where he will finish out his Rookie Year. He also changed his number to #8T. 

Tatum is a car enthusiast and according to mom, he can name pretty much any car on the road today.  She also reports that his first word and his first Movie was, yep you guessed it – \”Cars\”!  Tatum says that he is enjoying meeting the different racers. He wants to learn and grow so that he can also motivate other kids to do the same.   Fun fact:  Tatum was 3 when he had a red Mustang battery powered car that his parents had to replaced the tires on 3 times because his first driving experience was drifting in their cul de sac.

1st Place – August 23rd, 2014 at KAM Kartway (First Career Win!)

2nd Place – Zombie Race, Final Points Race of the KAM Kartway Season

8th Place – BRC Race of Champions Points Championship Series (only 6 races)

3rd Place – 9th Annual John Makula Memorial at KAM Kartway

First Big Show (Lone Star Kart Nationals), Tatum\’s fastest lap time of 10.629 at a speed of 33.87 mi/h, which was just shy of the Feature Winner\’s time/speed.
